End of the Year Author Update – 2023
Hey, accomplices!
As I sit and type this on New Year’s Day, I have again, eaten too much.
New Year’s Eve has been big for me since I was a kid. The family comes over and I make dinner. It’s the only holiday that I’m in charge of. It was kind of a thing I took over back when I was first learning to cook. At the time, the meal would consist of whatever random things I’d learned to make. Now, Sam and I make a full Chinese food spread with 9 different dishes. We’ve ruined takeout for ourselves by realizing it can be done at home. The downside is that I eat way too much every year.
Also, we DESTROYED the kitchen.
There is so much to clean up. I am going to die.
On the upside, the holidays are over! Now I can get back to work. Kind of. I’m still waiting on the edits for Necrotic Book 6. I’m really nervous about this one since it’s extra silly. I always have this fear that my editor is just going to say it’s too ridiculous and no amount of editing will save it. That never happens but it’s always my fear. Until I get edits back, I’ll probably work on one of the side projects.
But that’s it for what’s happening with me.

Books:
Necrotic Apocalypse 6: Revelations – The first draft is finished! The rough chapters are still being posted to Patreon. I’m waiting on dev edits.
Cover art is in progress.
Narration is still scheduled for March 2024 so the release should be about a month or so after that depending on the publisher’s schedule.
Pixel Dust 4: Carpe Diem – 70k words written (50%) New chapters are being posted to Patreon
Dusk 1: City of Shade and Spark – 3k. This is a new series in the process that I’m working on a tiny bit and will be slowly releasing on Patreon for now. It’s about death! Fun! I can’t wait to spend more time with it but I will have to finish the Necrotic series before that happens.
Untitled Fantasy Series – 4.5k First chapter down. That’s it. It’s a cute story with a new character that I’m excited to write. WIll update more when it has a real title.
Other things to know:
I know I keep saying I’m going to do some livestreams on Facebook and whatnot but I haven’t. I’m still gonna, but like, eventually. Maybe this month even. We’ll see. I’ll let the discord know when I’m ready, so get in there.
Necrotic Apocalypse hardcovers have been ordered, so they will be available soon.
I’m beginning to schedule cons for the summer. I’m sticking to New England so if you’re in the area come by and say hi.
