End of Month Author Update – September 2023

Hey, accomplices. I’m back on track! (when I’m not playing Baldur’s Gate)

Other writers I know joke that they always get stuck at a certain part of the story. It’s when things go wrong and get emotional. There’s a lot of fun and games untill they hit that part and then it’s like hitting a wall. For me, it’s the opposite. I struggle to stay motivated in the middle chapters when everything is going well for the characters and they’re making progress. No, I need to hurt them. Once we get to the tough times, things just start coming together for me. So yeah, book 6 of Necrotic is gettin there.

Books:

Necrotic Apocalypse 6: Revelations – 110K words written (75%) New chapters are being posted to Patreon
Narration is scheduled for March 2024 so release should be about a month or so after that depending on publisher’s schedule.

Pixel Dust 4: Carpe Diem – 70k words written (50%) New chapters are being posted to Patreon

Other things to know:

I’m still new to Bluesky and have like 6 followers so come join me. I’m really hopiing this app takes off so we can let twitter die. But that all depends on if regular people actually go over there and not just creators. Right now it’s just a bunch of content creators and furrys.

Other Stuff!

I just put up signed hardcover copies of Pixel Dust on my website for sale. I’ll do a bigger post here to anounce it but, yeah, they are available now. I hope to get Necrotic hardcovers at some point too, there was just more demand for Pixel Dust so it gote formatted first.

Also, I’m going to the county fair this weekend. Not in any professional capacity. I’m just gonna eat a turkey leg and a bunch of other stuff that I probably shouldn’t and I’m ecited. I know I always say I’m gonna take pictures to share on the discord but I’m reall y going to try. Also join the discord.

Also also, Baldur’s Gate is fun. I made Parker as a character and it’s been a great time. She makes every situation awkward and is trying her best to romance EVERYONE. It’s so nice to have a turn based game again. Some advice for your own game, don’t play with my friends unless you want a overly muscular nude halfling running around the background everytime you talk to anyone.

Union rises!

Union rises!

Until the writer’s strike is over, I’ll be donating all proceeds of the new Union design to the Entertainment Community Fund. So join the horde and support a cause.

End of Month Author Update – August 2023

Hey, accomplices. I’m a little late on this update since DragonCon was a hard week. Here’s an update on everything. Writing is still moving slow. I got sick, followed by a power outage that lasted days, then a flat tire. I’m pretty sure is pissed off all the gods. Anyway, here’s the update.

Books:

Necrotic Apocalypse 5: Rebirth – is still out! As always, be sure to leaf a review!

I just received an order of hardcover Pixel Dust books which I know a few of you have been asking for. They will be available in the shop soon.

DRAGON CON!

Had a good time as usual. Though, my AirBNB did cancel on me the day of, leaving me and Sam scrambling for a hotel. Then the hotel lost power. Then I got sick. It was a weird trip. Didn’t get to take a lot of pictures but it was fun and I got to catch up with some friends. And it’s always good to see Travis. If you’re ever in the Atlanta area, go check out Monk’s Meadery. We went there in a whim with Ryan and Shermer and it was some of the best mead that I’d had. Other than that, it was a good trip. I just wish I’d gotten to see some some friends a little longer, once a year isn’t enough.
